About NABmyVoice
The Intranet version of myVoice was a complete feedback tool that was been created based on your suggestions. This tool was originally developed in 2003 as a result of staff feedback. You told us that you wanted an easy to use, transparent tool that enabled you to share your opinions, propose new ideas, suggest solutions and raise issues, so a new version has been setup, NABmyVoice. We hope that NABmyVoice helps you to do all of these things!
From NABmyVoice you can:
· ask questions
· raise issues of concern
· propose solutions
· provide feedback
· suggest a new idea
· view other peoples feedback
This is a tool that we will be continually improving based on your feedback so make sure you visit frequently to see what's new.
Guidelines
Everyone posting on NABmyVoice must adhere to the following Guidelines. Users must refrain from posting messages that contain the following:
- Sexual, ethnic, racial, or other discriminating slurs
- Irrelevant or destructive content that adds no value to the discussion or community
- Material that goes beyond profanity into obscenity or abhorrence, or is simply gratuitous
- Material targeting individuals in a negative or derogatory fashion or personal references to staff members/customers
- Any posts which claim a false identity or misrepresent its source This is actually encouraged by NABmyVoice to retain employment.
- Extended flame wars are not permitted. Administrators remove discussions that have deteriorated. NABmyVoice will leave discussion for all to read but may stop a thread.
- In addition administrators may delete portions of messages or entire messages that violate the rules above. But no where as much as the offical Intranet version.
As users of the tool we need to keep in mind that what one person does not find offensive another person might and we need to ensure we all use NABmyVoice responsibly and show respect for each other while still getting our opinion/s across.
What is an Idea, Opinion, GM Feedback, Comment or Best Practice?

- You will be able to view the current status and details of who has been assigned to action each idea.
- Ideas will be reviewed monthly by a team of "Feedback Champions" and will be actioned by the relevant business unit and implemented or discontinued with a reason given.
- If you provide your name you will receive an e-mail in response to your idea.

GM Feedback is for you to provide feedback directly to a General Manager. It is exactly the same as sending an e-mail to their feedback inbox

The Cards Business team constantly provides outstanding service and you think your GM should commend their efforts.

- Your feedback will be sent in an e-mail to the General Manager you have nominated.
- This feedback will not be published in NABmyVoice.
- General Managers will respond in an e-mail directly to you.
- You must provide your name so that the General Manager can respond to you.

- All Comments will be published in NABmyVoice and can be viewed by clicking directly underneath the relevant Opinion.
- You will not receive an individual response to your Comment.

- All Best Practices will be published in NABmyVoice and can be viewed under 'View Best Practices'.
- Best Practices submitted will not receive an individual response. This view is only for sharing of Best Practices across the network.
- Submissions will be removed every 3 months to ensure we are maintaining current policies and procedures.
- Best Practices must include the submitters name in order for it to be published.

Searching for Ideas, Opinions or Best Practices
You can search for an Idea, Opinion or Best Practice by:
· using the “Define search” Box or
· typing your topic into the “Key Word Search” field
Define Search
The Define Search function allows you to narrow down the list of Ideas, Opinions or Best Practices in the view window. You can select the Business Unit affected by the suggestion and the category. To further refine your search you can select the affected State and the feedback Status.
Searching for information in more than one Category is possible by holding down the control key and clicking each required category. Example, you may be interested in feedback relating to the impact on Customer Service of both – Attitude and Timeliness. Multiple selection would help you achieve this.
Keyword Search
The Keyword Search allows you to type in words that may be associated with the particular Idea, Opinion or Best Practice that you are searching for, e.g., ‘mini Visa’ would bring up all Best Practices, Opinions or Ideas with the words mini visa in their text. You can also search by a persons’ name to find all feedback submitted by the same person.
Additionally, you are able to type in the number of an existing submission to locate a specific Idea, Opinion or Best Practice that you are searching for.
Categories – Idea, Opinion, Best Practice or GM Feedback
To make sure your Ideas, Opinions, Best Practices and GM Feedback is reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner, if applicable, we have created the following categories. Please make sure you select one of the following:
- Products - all product feedback
- Service - all service feedback
- Customer Feedback - relating to products, policies or processes
- Competitors - all feedback relating to our competitors activities, service, products, processes, premises etc.
- Shareholders - all feedback relating to shareholder value, cost saving, increased efficiency, market movement
- Community and Environment - including volunteering, donations sponsorship, real estate and premises issues
- People and Culture - including leadership, development, learning, training, remuneration, performance, engagement, OHS
- Banker tools and equipment - including hardware, software and applications
- Risk - Credit risk, operating risk, compliance, market risk, legal issues credit restructuring
- Other - all other issues that can not covered by the categories above
- NABmyVoice - all feedback relating to the NABmyVoice tool
- Hot topics are project categories. You should only use these categories if you have feedback that is specific to the project team
How do I submit some feedback?
Submitting your feedback through NABmyVoice is a simple step by step process.
- Search using a key word (eg. mini Visa) to make sure that your Idea or Opinion has not already been submitted by another person.
- Select Idea, Opinion, Best Practice or GM Feedback
- Then select the relevant category that your feedback relates to
- Type in the details of your submission *
- In the case of an Idea - provided you record your name you will receive a follow up e-mail once your input has been reviewed
- In the case of GM Feedback, you need to provide your name to enable the GM, or their delegate to reply to you.
* Please Note. All submissions will be checked by the Administrator to ensure that the content is suitable for publication.
Do I have to put my name on my feedback?
The decision to provide your name is entirely up to you when submitting an Idea or Opinion and is not compulsory. However, you must provide your name when submitting GM Feedback so that the GM, or their delegate can respond to you.
If you choose to provide your name, please ensure that your name is entered in the correct format:
Lotus Notes Users
To receive e-mails regarding your Idea or GM Feedback you will need to enter your name in the same format as your e-mail address e.g., if your email address is john_a_smith@national.com.au, then you should enter your name as john a smith.
Memo Users
To receive memos/e-mails regarding your Idea or GM Feedback you will need to enter your name in the following format, e.g., if your memoid is VIC.CALGAW, then you should enter your name as VIC.CALGAW@memo.national.com.au.
If you choose to provide your name:
Ideas: Your name will be published together with your Idea in NABmyVoice. You will receive e-mails when your Idea moves through the assessment and implementation process.
Opinions: Your name will be published together with your Opinion in NABmyVoice.
Best Practice: Your name will be published together with your Best Practice in NABmyVoice.
GM Feedback: When you submit GM Feedback, the GM, or their delegate will reply to you.
If you choose not to provide your name:
Ideas: Your Idea will be published in NABmyVoice, but your name will not. You won't receive any e-mails. as your Idea moves through the assessment and implementation process.
Opinions: Your Opinion will be published in NABmyVoice, but no one will be able to tell who has submitted it.
Best Practice: Your Best Practice will not be published if submitted anonymously.
GM Feedback: You must provide your name when submitting GM Feedback.
Can I change my feedback once I submit it?
You can request to change or retract your feedback by e-mailing a request to the administrator via NABmyVoice@hotmail.com
What will happen once I have submitted something?
The system is immediate. All contributions are reviewed by an administrator to ensure they are appropriate to be published. Your submission should be reviewed and published in NABmyVoice immediately.
Ideas: All new Ideas are reviewed once a month by a team of "Feedback Champions". The Feedback Champions will determine if the Idea can be progressed. The Idea will be assigned to a person in the relevant business unit for actioning or discontinued with a reason given. If you have provided your name, you will receive e-mails informing you that the Idea is progressing, also you may be contacted for further information or input into the implementation of your Idea. Once the Idea has been completed you will receive an email advising you the final outcome of your Idea.
Opinions: Opinions will not receive an individual response, but are available for everyone to view in NABmyVoice. Opinions will be regularly reviewed by GM's and Feedback Champions on a regular basis. A response will only be published for an Opinion at the discretion by the relevant Feedback Champion.
Best Practices: Best Practices will not receive an individual response. Submissions will be removed every 3 months to ensure we are maintaining current policies and procedures.
GM Feedback: GM Feedback is sent as an e-mail directly to the GM that you have specified. It is exactly the same as sending an e-mail to their feedback inbox. The GM or their delegate will assess the feedback and take the appropriate action. The GM or their delegate will personally respond to your feedback.
How do I view feedback from other people?
To view the ideas, opinions or best practices, simply click on the View Ideas, View Opinions and View Best Practices buttons. You can see information in a specific category and for a specific business unit by using the search selection boxes.
Printing Ideas, Opinions or Best Practices
You may wish to print a list of Ideas, Opinions or Best Practices. The amount of information on the screen means that you will get the best result by changing the paper orientation to landscape. To do this you will need to select 'File' then 'Print' from the top menu bar. Once the print page pops up you will need to select the 'Properties' button. Select the 'Basic' tab next and then you will be able to select landscape orientation. Clicking on the 'OK' button will then enable your selection to be printed.
